We don't sell your data
Your information is never sold to advertisers or data brokers. Period.
Your data is encrypted
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols.
You can see your data
Request a copy of all data we hold about you at any time.
You can delete it
Request deletion of your account and data whenever you want.
What We Collect
Account Information
When you sign up, we collect:
- Your email address
- Your name (if you provide it)
- A password (securely hashed, we can't read it)
Why? So you can sign in and access your saved assessments.
Property Assessments
When you create an assessment, we store:
- Property address and details you enter
- Photos you upload during the viewing
- Notes and observations from your checklist
- The AI-generated report
Why? So you can access your assessments later, compare properties, and download reports.
Payment Information
If you purchase credits:
- Stripe handles all payment processing
- We never see or store your full card number
- We keep a record of what you purchased and when
Why? So you can see your purchase history and we can provide support if needed.
Usage Analytics (With Your Consent)
If you accept analytics cookies, we collect:
- Which pages you visit
- How long you spend on the site
- What device and browser you use
- Where you came from (search engine, social media, etc.)
Why? To understand how people use SurveyReady so we can make it better. This data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally.
How AI Uses Your Data
Important: Your data is sent to Anthropic
To generate your property assessment report, we send your checklist observations and photos to Anthropic (the company behind Claude AI). Here's what you need to know:
- Data is processed in the US – Anthropic's servers are in the United States
- Zero data retention – Anthropic does not store or use your data to train AI models (we use their API with zero retention)
- Encrypted in transit – Your data is encrypted when sent to and from Anthropic
By using SurveyReady, you consent to this data transfer. If you're not comfortable with US data processing, please don't use our service.
Who We Share Data With
We only share your data with companies that help us run SurveyReady:

Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Request a copy of everything we hold about you
Correct your data
Fix any information that's wrong or incomplete
Delete your data
Request we erase your account and all associated data
Export your data
Get your data in a portable format you can take elsewhere
Withdraw consent
Change your cookie preferences or other consent at any time

How Long We Keep Data
- Account data:Until you delete your account
- Property assessments:Until you delete them or your account
- Payment records:7 years (required by UK tax law)
- Analytics data:Aggregated, no personal data retained
